Braving the early morning chill the UpNorthLive.com crew made their way to Boyne Highlands in Northern Michigan to cover the roll out of the 2016 Golf Season on GolfBoards.

Steve Pajak of the Sacramento Bee visited Lincoln Hills Golf Club to see for himself what riding the GolfBoard was all about. As someone who has never surfed or skateboarded, Steve found himself experiencing golf in a way he never has before. "I smiled incessantly," he wrote, "I couldn't help it. I can't wait to do it again."
Pajak met up with Terry Fitzwater - a golfer who normally plays a couple other regional courses. Fitzwater was back to Lincoln Hills for his second turn on a GolfBoard. A 66-year-old veteran golfer, he said, "If I had the choice, the GolfBoard or a cart, I'd take the GolfBoard every time."

An early adopter of GolfBoard, McGoldrick hopes Black Rock will have many more GolfBoards for their members and guests.
